The Silicon Valley is a vibrant place to observe, and Tom Foremski has made a successful career doing just that. A former news reporter and Silicon Valley columnist for the Financial Times, Tom was one of the first journalists to take his professional message on-line into the new media culture. In 2004, Tom created was has become the Silicon Valley Watcher—”Reporting on the business and culture of Silicon Valley.” Through Silicon Valley Watcher, Tom provides readers everywhere with a daily dose of his insightful, sometimes challenging, and often future-suggesting observations and opinions.
Join us on January 7th, 2009, as Tom joins our circle to share his thoughts. Learn what Tom observes on the horizon for 2009, and what he would most like to see happen. Hear about the challenges and opportunities of being a professional observer of Silicon Valley. Discover the key innovations Tom is seeing or practicing, including any innovations in innovation itself. Uncover or request any advice Tom may have for innovators and innovation advocates, going forward.
